Over 30 Ad 2 Members, students and guests attended the Ad 2 Madison’s educational event on Tuesday, March 31, 2009 with guest speaker Tom Farley. Titled “Creating Brand Evangelists,” Tom explained how to attach emotion to brands and the effects it will have. He stressed the importance of understanding and managing the feelings and expectations of internal stakeholders as they are the face of a company and the ones who carry the brand with them. The group also learned that creating a strong brand is not about bullet points and charts; it’s about stories and telling those stories to everyone you meet.
